TL;DR

Controller (Finance) (Manufacturing): Leading the North America finance function for a manufacturing organization with an accent on accounting operations, cost accounting, and financial reporting. Focus on overseeing internal controls, managing month-end/year-end close processes, and preparing annual budgets.

Location: On-site in Sparta, Wisconsin (5 days per week)

Salary: Up to $165,000 per annum

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate the finance team responsible for accounting and financial data processing.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and oversee inventory control procedures.
• Manage the financial statement audit process and prepare annual budgets for the parent company.
• Administer foreign currency transactions, cash flow, and accounts receivable management.
• Prepare property tax and NAFTA-related filings and operational reports.
• Standardize and improve internal accounting procedures and efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Sparta, Wisconsin.
• 4+ years of experience as a Controller handling full accounting records.
• 2–3 years of experience in Cost Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with ERP systems.
