What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for custom silicon/ASIC and critical electrical components for NPI and mass production.
• Lead supplier identification, qualification, and selection for foundries, OSATs, and semiconductor partners.
• Drive commercial negotiations for pricing, long-term supply agreements (LTAs), and capacity reservations.
• Partner with engineering to align supplier capabilities with product architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Manage supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Lead supply risk management and cost optimization through market analysis and should-cost modeling.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or commodity management within consumer electronics or semiconductors.
• Experience managing custom silicon or ASIC supply chains and collaborating with manufacturing partners.
• Deep knowledge of components such as memory, MCUs, PMICs, RF, and connectivity chipsets.
• Proven experience supporting NPI and managing component readiness across EVT, DVT, and PVT stages.
• Demonstrated ability to lead supplier negotiations and commercial capacity planning.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills to influence engineering and operations stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem (wafer fab, assembly, packaging, and test flows).
• Experience managing wafer starts, die allocation, or packaging/test capacity.
• Familiarity with semiconductor cost modeling and pricing structures.
• Experience operating in fast-paced hardware startup environments.
