What you will do

• Lead the negotiation, structuring, and execution of complex commercial transactions, including cloud, AI, software, and strategic outsourcing agreements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leadership on regulatory, corporate, employment, and data protection matters across China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.
• Manage high-impact legal issues, including government inquiries, investigations, disputes, arbitration, and litigation.
• Provide leadership to the Greater China Legal team, overseeing delivery of support and coaching legal professionals.
• Collaborate with global Law Department colleagues to ensure consistent risk management and AI governance frameworks.

Requirements

• Law degree from a recognized university in China and admission to the Bar of China.
• Minimum 15+ years of post-qualification experience, including significant in-house or senior law firm practice.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Deep hands-on experience advising on PRC and regional legal and regulatory matters within a multinational environment.
• Strong experience in technology services, IT infrastructure, cloud, or digital services sectors.
