What you will do

• Provide high-quality individualized and small-group instruction for students with disabilities as outlined in their IESP.
• Manage weekly IESP requirements and maintain an intervention schedule aligned with the school.
• Develop quarterly progress reports and maintain regular communication with families.
• Create and implement engaging lesson plans that meet unique academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to build an inclusive learning environment.
• Document service delivery and student performance within the internal system.

Requirements

• Valid NYS Students with Disabilities certification (1-6, 7-12, or All Grades).
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must not have been employed by NYC DOE in the past 12 months.
• NYC DOE fingerprinting clearance or willingness to obtain it prior to start.
• Dependable transportation.
