What you will do

• Design and develop programs, utilities, and pipelines to support Integration, System, Performance, Security, and Compatibility testing streams.
• Implement and report on automated test coverage strategies, providing analysis of coverage metrics.
• Update and maintain automated regression tests, resolving false positives and refactoring fragile tests.
• Execute targeted manual and exploratory testing for critical functionalities and high-risk areas.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities within the testing process and tools.
• Contribute to the definition of test frameworks and the implementation of Continuous Testing pipelines within Agile and DevOps environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance, specifically with Databases technologies.
• Experience with mainframe environments (z/OS).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, or C.
• Extensive experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, or PyTest.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and platforms, specifically Jenkins.

Nice to have

• Experience programming in IBM Assembler (HLASM), REXX, or Metal C.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RESTAssured, or SoapUI.
• Relevant industry certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or SAFe Agilist (SA).
