What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, regression, and performance layers.
• Embed in feature squads to contribute to testable design, acceptance criteria, and code reviews.
• Own test automation integration in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or Jenkins.
• Define and execute performance testing strategy including load, stress, soak, spike, and chaos scenarios.
• Build and maintain performance test suites with k6, Gatling, or Locust, integrated into CI.
• Model traffic patterns, profile AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS/Aurora, SQS/SNS), and automate baseline comparisons.
• Maintain performance health dashboards and deliver reports translating metrics into user and revenue impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years in software test automation with focus on performance engineering
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript
• Basic understanding of unit testing frameworks such as PyTest, Mocha, or Jest
• Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured
• Knowledge of Git or GitHub
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker)
