Location: Hybrid in Santa Clara, CA, or 100% remote within the US
Salary: $140,000 – $165,000 USD

What you will do
- Build and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Convert existing manual test cases into automated test suites using Appium, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Develop and execute API and backend tests using Postman, REST Assured, or pure code.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and integrate automation into hardware/software systems, including USB interfaces and embedded components.
- Collaborate with software/hardware engineers and product managers to define test strategies and BDD scenarios.
- Track and report bugs and test coverage metrics to improve overall system quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an SDET position.
- Experience with both automated and manual testing of complex systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, and Python.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience testing products that encompass both software and hardware components.
- Ability to document clear and comprehensive test plans and bug reports.
Nice to have
- Experience leading or contributing to a new test framework.
- Expertise in optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of USB interfaces, stepper motors, and embedded software.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles.
