What you will do

• Perform fundamental analysis on companies and sectors to guide portfolio risk management.
• Develop and monitor portfolio screens for news and price changes across 1,000+ credits.
• Maintain and develop detailed credit views on the most topical names in the portfolio.
• Assist in the execution of cash and derivative trades.
• Formulate hedge strategies, identify sales candidates, and set target prices.
• Value and mark illiquid positions by building financial models and reviewing comparable companies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in credit research, investing (buy-side or sell-side), investment banking, or equity research.
• Strong fundamental credit skills, including financial modelling, valuation, and recovery analysis.
• Proficiency in basic fixed income mathematics and risk metrics.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
