What you will do

• Manage patient inboxes, responding to inquiries regarding medication shipments, dosing, and appointment scheduling.
• Provide empathetic psychoeducation and support for patients experiencing anxiety, depression, or PTSD.
• Triage incoming messages and escalate clinical concerns to care team nurses or providers.
• Strictly follow suicidality protocols to identify, document, and escalate at-risk patients.
• Coordinate shipping logistics and act as a liaison between patients and pharmacies.
• Guide patients through the Be.Joyous portal for treatment updates and resource access.

Requirements

• Strong English fluency with excellent written communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence for handling sensitive patient interactions professionally.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology for accurate message categorization and triage.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and CRM platforms (e.g., Kustomer).
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, US evenings, and overnights to support 24/7 coverage (PST).
• Ability to work independently as an independent contractor with a reliable computer and internet.

Nice to have

• Experience in telehealth, mental health, or behavioral health environments.
• Familiarity with psychiatric assessments such as PHQ-9, GAD-7, or PCL-5.
• Prior experience using DrChrono or Slack.
• Previous experience working remotely for a US-based company.
