Salary: $30.00–$55.63 hourly

What you will do

• Analyze and investigate complex fraud activity, including account takeovers, identity theft, and fraud rings across multiple products.
• Manage sophisticated investigations, conduct member interviews, and make decisions within regulatory timeframes.
• Determine requirements for and complete high-quality Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Identify emerging fraud trends and systemic vulnerabilities to reduce organizational risk and losses.
• Coach and provide guidance to other Fraud Investigators to elevate overall investigation quality.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and external partners to support loss recovery efforts.

Requirements

• Resident of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, NC, VA, or SC.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work/educational experience.
• 5 years of experience in fraud or financial crimes prevention, detection, or case investigations.
• 2 years of experience in a fraud-specific customer service environment.
• CFCS or CFE certification (required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire).

Nice to have

• Experience in writing and filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Knowledge of Regulation E, Regulation CC, and Regulation UCC.
