What you will do

• Collaborate with Research, Development, Automation, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent laboratory support.
• Assist Scientists in preparing and aliquoting reagents and performing Genomics workflows.
• Execute automated procedures using liquid handling platforms.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot R&D lab equipment using SOPs and WIs.
• Manage patient sample accessioning, processing, and biosample management.
• Maintain R&D reagent/sample inventory documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of current molecular biology techniques and DNA sequencing.
• Experience writing and updating Work Instructions (WIs), SOPs, and maintaining detailed lab notebooks.
• Proven ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot effectively.
• Strong communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Must be able to work onsite in Brisbane, California

Nice to have

• Experience working in BSL-2 laboratories and familiarity with 5S organizational practices.
• Proficiency with automated liquid handling platforms and software.
• Experience setting up Illumina sequencers.
• Experience handling and preparing blood and tissue samples.
