What you will do

• Design and implement core backend service features for Nexus to connect applications across isolated namespaces.
• Provide comprehensive test coverage, including unit, integration, and performance testing for owned features.
• Document design choices and operational knowledge to ensure successful deployment and service maintenance.
• Develop service level logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks for production stability.
• Own distributed systems components such as durable execution and async processing.
• Expand workflow invocation capabilities through industry-standard protocols.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of experience in production environments building highly scalable distributed systems.
• Solid computer science fundamentals in distributed systems, including multi-threading and concurrency.
• 4+ years of experience developing customer-facing APIs and frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Go, Java, or other applicable concurrent languages.
• Must be based in the United States.
