TL;DR
Software Engineer, Product Backend: Building and maintaining end-to-end product features for 's no-code platform with an accent on backend development, security, compliance, and platform interoperability. Focus on designing scalable backend systems, API integrations for AI agents, and enterprise governance features like SSO and audit systems.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and open to office ~2-3 times/week (Embarcadero), based in New York City and open to office ~2-3 times/week (Soho), or based remotely in the greater Seattle area. Must be currently based and/or will be based in these US locations only.

What you will do
- Spec and build beautiful, consistent, fast product features that encourage exploration and build customer trust.
- Work across the stack from AWS, Node.js, SQL to React, HTML, and CSS, with primary focus on backend development.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand user needs and unlock their potential.
- Own end-to-end implementation of features on teams like Admin (security, SSO, audit systems) or Platform Interoperability (AI agents, integrations).
- Work alongside talented engineers with diverse experiences.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience with modern full-stack web development, emphasis on backend feature development.
- Fluent in one or more backend technologies; interested in JavaScript and React.
- Good understanding of web technologies and large-scale web application architecture.
- Background in computer science or related field.
- Currently based and/or will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or remotely in Seattle.
- Strong ownership, thoughtful decision-making, and conviction with validation.
