What you will do

• Drive technical direction and architecture for the Android application, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Lead design and delivery of large-scale features and platform initiatives with cross-team collaboration.
• Write high-quality code, implement video streaming with Android media frameworks, and build responsive UIs.
• Evolve architectural patterns like modular design and dependency injection to boost productivity.
• Mentor engineers, evaluate new technologies, and improve tooling, CI/CD, and developer experience.
• Identify and solve technical challenges proactively while shaping product direction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent + 8+ years Android experience with increasing responsibility.
• Deep Kotlin proficiency, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow, Android SDK.
• Experience leading architecture of large-scale Android apps, MVVM/MVI/Clean Architecture.
• RESTful APIs, async programming, Gradle, Git, cross-functional collaboration.
• Mentoring via code reviews and coaching; AI tool usage with code validation.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Video streaming (MediaCodec, HLS/RTSP/WebRTC).
• Android NDK/JNI, Jetpack components, Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Mobile security, CI/CD pipelines, analytics tools.
• .NET/C# backend, iOS experience, open-source contributions.
