What you will do

• Perform precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators using shimming, torque wrenches, fixtures, and measuring devices.
• Conduct test operations on mechanical or hydraulic actuators with specialized equipment and tools.
• Diagnose test failures, recommend or perform rework, and hold units for engineering disposition.
• Validate acceptance of models using mechanical or electronic measuring equipment against current test requirements.
• Order parts via RUR and WDS systems and document work performed on data sheets.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred; demonstrated ability to understand English instructions and basic math.
• Minimum 3+ years of assembly experience (mechanical, hydraulic, electromechanical or electronic).
• FAA Safety Sensitive position; must meet FAA drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Possess or able to obtain Security Clearance.
• Ability to read blueprints; experience in aerospace assembly, precision measuring (dial indicators, calipers, micrometers), and troubleshooting.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).

Nice to have

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification.
