Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Establish optimized process parameters and troubleshoot processing problems across all facility processes.
• Lead engineering support team and new product launches.
• Manage communications with product design, sales, suppliers, tool shops, production, and program managers on processing issues.
• Oversee tooling repairs, revisions, new designs, and modifications to reduce scrap and downtime.
• Maintain documentation for processes and tooling, including process sheets, APQP, and parameter changes.
• Startup processes, perform Kaizen, Lean, continuous improvement, and lead 8D and APQP teams.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Engineering (2-year or 4-year) or 5 years experience in related field.
• Experience in processing and manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed, motivated, willing to work excess hours and travel to customers/suppliers as required.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) preferred.
