What you will do

• Evaluate submitted research papers and manage the peer review process up to acceptance.
• Commission, edit review articles, editorials, and technical summaries.
• Travel to conferences and research institutions to engage with the physics community.
• Understand needs of international authors, readers, and reviewers.
• Build relationships across Cell Press to support physical sciences publishing.

Requirements

• PhD in physics, preferably in quantum information, communication, sensing, optics, or photonics (post-doc experience welcome).
• Critical thinker willing to engage with diverse physics areas.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong teamworking and collaboration in a global team.
• Interest in publishing trends and scientific communication.
