TL;DR

First Party Claims Handler (Insurance): Proactively manage a portfolio of customer repair claims through to settlement with an accent on indemnity investigations, supplier coordination, and accurate payments. Focus on thorough claim assessments using in-house engineers, ensuring data integrity, and fulfilling customer needs during claims journey.

Location: Liverpool, UK (hybrid working options available; must have UK work authorization with at least one year remaining on Graduate or Post-Study Work visa, no sponsorship)

Salary: £26,937 to £29,781 plus up to £1,500 performance related bonus per annum

What you will do

  • Help customers with speed, ease, and understanding during claims
  • Manage portfolio of repair claims through to settlement as a team
  • Carry out complete indemnity investigations on all claims
  • Work with suppliers and in-house engineers to assess and fulfil customer needs
  • Process accurate payments and maintain data integrity throughout claim lifecycle

Requirements

  • UK work eligibility: at least one year remaining on Graduate or Post-Study Work visa (no sponsorship)
  • Excellent customer service skills and natural empathy
  • Fast-paced problem-solving, positive attitude, and quick decision-making
  • Good IT skills, confident communication, and strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
  • Team player passionate about insurance industry development
  • Ability to handle challenging customers and third-party insurers
