TL;DR

Customer Support (Banking): Providing face-to-face support to customers in branches and developing skills in customer service with an accent on building relationships and resolving financial queries. Focus on delivering empathetic service, collaborating with teammates, and ensuring customer confidence.

Location: Stirling. Working across Bank of Scotland branches within a reasonable distance. 35 hours a week, including Saturdays. If in hybrid locations, meet homeworking criteria such as quiet private room and stable internet.

Salary: £26,200, increasing to £26,950 after 6 months

  • Provide face-to-face support to customers in branches, resolving queries and building relationships.
  • Learn and grow through the Skill Progression Framework, mastering customer service skills over 12 months minimum.
  • Transition to remote roles like phone support from home, web-chat, social media, or video calls.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet customer needs and deliver outstanding service.
  • Explore career opportunities in digital, operations, fraud, financial planning, or leadership.

Requirements

  • One year’s customer service experience.
  • People person: honest, genuine, caring about helping with finances (no financial services experience required).
  • Ability to build relationships quickly for fantastic customer experiences.
  • Empathy, care, integrity; resolve queries thoroughly.
  • Commitment to promises, going above and beyond.
  • Genuine teammate for collaboration.
