TL;DR

AI Engineer: Designing and implementing AI-first workflows, building intelligent agents, and integrating them into core business systems with an accent on generative AI use cases, workflow automation, and system integration. Focus on taking ideas from concept to production, delivering technically sound and commercially valuable solutions.

Location: Liverpool (Hybrid - 2 days per week in office)

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum

What you will do

• Design and implement AI-first workflows and intelligent agents
• Integrate AI solutions into core business systems via APIs and connectors
• Develop generative AI use cases including prompt engineering and RAG
• Work across stakeholders, data, and systems to deliver production-ready solutions
• Ensure solutions are technically sound and deliver measurable business outcomes

Requirements

• Experience developing and deploying AI-powered workflows or intelligent automation
• Hands-on exposure to tools such as Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, or similar platforms
• Understanding of generative AI approaches, including prompt engineering and RAG
• Experience integrating enterprise systems via APIs and connectors
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Awareness of governance, security, and data protection considerations
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to deal with ambiguity
• Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
