Salary: $232,000 - $348,000 (San Francisco base pay for Staff level IC and above; adjusted by location).

What you will do

• Design and build agentic systems to autonomously handle production issues from errors and build failures to performance regressions and security anomalies.
• Architect multi-step agent workflows coordinating tools, APIs, and sandboxed code execution with durable state management.
• Build skills and tool integrations for deep hirify.global platform knowledge including deployments, functions, logs, metrics, and DNS.
• Ship user-facing experiences across dashboard, CLI, and Slack with strong product and UI instincts.
• Develop infrastructure for dynamic skill injection enabling runtime capability acquisition.
• Collaborate on prompt engineering, model evaluation, and RAG pipelines for accurate agent knowledge.

Requirements

• 7+ years full-time software engineering experience with strong TypeScript proficiency (Python experts excited to switch also welcome).
• Track record of openness, adaptability to new technologies, domains, or roles.
• Strong product and UI sensibility to build great AI interaction experiences independently.
• Full-stack capability with understanding of infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and large-scale web applications.
• Experience building frameworks, platforms, or reusable abstractions.
• Demonstrated ability to ship independently, influence architecture, and communicate technical insights effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience building agentic systems, AI tooling, or production agents.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI), prompt engineering, or RAG.
• Work with hirify.global, Next.js, or modern web deployment ecosystem.
• Experience with sandboxed execution, container orchestration, or secure multi-tenant systems.
