Group Financial & Tax Accountant

TL;DR

Group Financial & Tax Accountant (SaaS): Assist in global reporting and tax compliance for UK and foreign entities with an accent on statutory accounts, tax returns, and international payroll/benefits. Focus on supporting month-end closes, R&D tax claims, group audits, and ad hoc projects.

What you will do

• Support preparation of UK and foreign entity statutory accounts
• Aid production of UK and foreign entity tax returns
• Assist with international payroll, benefits, and sales tax reporting
• Complete and submit statistical reports like ONS in a timely manner
• Support month-end close for non-trading entities and global R&D tax claims
• Assist with group audit and ad hoc projects

Requirements

• Fully qualified or part qualified accountant with minimum 5 years industry experience in practice or busy finance team for global company
• Knowledge of all parts of modern finance team, good understanding of IFRS and UK tax
• Strong communication skills, digital literacy, and experience working hybrid/remote within a team
• Experience with Sage (or similar accounting packages), HubSpot, Excel
• Comfortable in high-growth SaaS/tech environment, confident, motivated with good time management

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with US entity and US tax
• Consolidation experience
• Understanding of SME organisations
