Senior Cloud Network Engineer, CX

TL;DR

Senior Cloud Network Engineer, CX (AWS/Azure/GCP): Responsible for public and private cloud network architecture and security with an accent on VPC/VNET design, peering, VPN gateways, NAT gateways, load balancers, and security groups. Focus on advanced routing with BGP and OSPF, firewalls, MPLS, and establishing repeatable design strategies and automation across cloud providers.

What you will do

• Act as internal consultant across business units, representing the Network team on cloud technologies.
• Research, evaluate, and establish repeatable design strategies and automation for current and future cloud needs.
• Update CloudFormation using JSON/YAML, review designs from architects and engineers.
• Serve as escalation point for deep analysis, problem-solving, and technical lead on projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues, customers, vendors to develop architectural solutions and communicate technical details to stakeholders.
• Evaluate systems, processes, and solutions, providing vision for improvements and understanding inter-system impacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years in internetworking environment
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Infrastructure as Code
• Scripting with JSON/YAML for CloudFormation
• Expert with Palo Alto firewalls and F5 load balancers, network switching/routing
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, Multicast, VRRP/HSRP, firewalls, peering, DNS
• Experience with MPLS, TACACS+/RADIUS/RSA SecurID, IPv6, SIP, SNMP management systems
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and adaptability to new technologies
