What you will do

• Administer and optimize middleware platforms including WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, and Apache on Linux.
• Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to middleware modernization and migration initiatives toward AWS.
• Automate configuration and patching using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Chef.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Participate in rotational on-call schedules and incident response to ensure system availability.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of hands-on experience with middleware platforms like WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills (RHEL/Unix).
• Practical experience with Docker and foundational knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Python for automation.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Manila and participate in rotational on-call support.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholder collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools.
• Exposure to monitoring and APM tools like Datadog or Splunk.
• Experience supporting middleware migrations or cloud adoption projects.
