System Admin Support Specialist (Linux)

What you will do

• Participate in 24x7 shift coverage and provide L1/L2 support for cPanel, Plesk, VPS, cloud, and dedicated hosting products.
• Investigate escalated technical cases, production incidents, monitoring alerts, and recurring service issues.
• Manage and configure virtual and dedicated servers and implement infrastructure fixes and upgrades.
• Develop tools and scripts to automate repetitive tasks and help customer support resolve issues independently.
• Coordinate with internal, external, and engineering teams on production issues, root-cause analysis, and permanent resolutions.
• Document procedures, contribute to the operations handbook, and maintain SLA and operational standards.

Requirements

• English proficiency in written and spoken communication.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar system administration or technical support role, preferably in hosting.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, cPanel, WHM, email, FTP, SSH, WordPress, and Magento, including command-line operations.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work 24x7 shifts, take ownership of incidents, and collaborate on escalated issues.
