Account Director

TL;DR

Account Director (Advertising): Understand client requirements, develop new business opportunities with advertisers and agencies, and manage advertising campaigns with an accent on client relations, business development, and campaign execution. Focus on pitching creative strategies, building customized proposals, and collaborating with creative, production, and account teams to deliver from brief to completion.

On-site in Shanghai, China. Candidate must be eligible to work in China.

What you will do

• Understand client requirements, brief creative and strategic teams, and pitch strategies to clients.
• Define and develop new business opportunities with advertisers and agencies.
• Sell agency services to potential clients and manage advertising campaigns.
• Build proposals, customize ideas, and execute campaigns end-to-end with Creative, Production, and Account Servicing teams.
• Research and stay updated on online marketing and digital trends.
• Mentor junior team members through feedback, coaching, and training.

Requirements

• 6+ years of work experience in Account Management within Advertising Agencies, 4As highly preferred.
• Solid background in project management of ATL and Digital categories.
• Significant experience in professional client relationship management and customer service attitude.
• Self-starter able to handle multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently in fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through; fluent in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Keynote.

• Internet savvy and familiar with fashion, beauty, sportswear, or youth culture.
