What you will do

• Design gear and other pump types for fuel and lubrication systems, creating 3D CAD models and engineering drawings compliant with aerospace standards.
• Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analyses for internal flow, pressure distribution, and cavitation prediction.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural integrity, rotor dynamics, and thermal effects under transient conditions.
• Define and execute pump test procedures, including performance mapping and vibration/thermal qualification.
• Collaborate with compressor, bearing, and control system teams to ensure seamless hydraulic and mechanical integration.
• Prepare detailed design reports and maintain design traceability through PLM tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Fluid Machinery Engineering.
• 4–8 years of experience in pump design within the aerospace or high-speed industrial sectors.
• Strong proficiency in CFD and FEA tools such as ANSYS Fluent, CFX, STAR CCM, or SolidWorks Simulation.
• Knowledge of aerospace design standards, including GD&T, tolerance analysis, and MIL-STD-810.
