What you will do

• Manage CNC machines for setup, operation, and production of parts from metal and plastic.
• Monitor machinery, inspect products, lead test runs, and ensure quality aligns with drawings and standards.
• Translate engineering drawings into dimensions and communicate to the team.
• Oversee machine execution, make adjustments for improved results, and handle material loading/unloading.
• Record production logs, perform daily maintenance and cleaning, and approve finished products.
• Report issues, ensure safety compliance, and conduct regular machine assessments.

Requirements

• Trade School Accreditation/High School diploma or equivalent; Certificate or diploma in Engineering is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as CNC Milling or Turning operator or Machinist in Machining/Aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience translating mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
• Experience operating CNC lathe (at least 4-axis) and CNC Milling (5-axis) machines; manual programming required, CAM programming advantage.
• Understanding of GD&T and reading engineering drawings; experience with CNC Surface or Cylindrical grinder.
• Team management, effective communication, productivity, and adherence to safety guidelines.
