What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for packaging, softgoods, and accessories supporting NPI and production ramp.
• Identify, qualify, and manage global suppliers for technical capability and capacity.
• Partner with industrial design and mechanical engineering to align materials and construction with design intent and manufacturability.
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, tooling, and long-term supply agreements.
• Support NPI by ensuring supplier readiness, component availability, and risk mitigation across build phases.
• Drive cost optimization via value engineering, material improvements, and supplier benchmarking.
• Manage supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery; collaborate with operations for smooth integration.

Requirements

• 8+ years in supply chain, sourcing, or commodity management in eyewear, hardware, or consumer products.
• Experience managing suppliers for packaging, softgoods, and accessories in eyewear or consumer products.
• Strong knowledge of consumer product packaging solutions.
• Experience sourcing softgoods like fabrics, leathers, foams for consumer products.
• Partnering with industrial design and mechanical engineering during product development.
• Supporting NPI, supplier readiness across EVT, DVT, PVT to production; leading negotiations and performance management.
• Working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers for consumer hardware.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
