What you will do

• Build scalable distributed systems handling high traffic from hundreds of thousands of devices worldwide.
• Work with high concurrency key-value storage systems like Redis and DynamoDB.
• Spin up new services in a microservices architecture.
• Architect, design, and develop projects across the core platform.
• Lead and grow junior engineers.

Requirements

• Located in San Mateo, CA, United States
• Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field.
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience driving technical direction and leading teams to project execution.
• Mastery of at least one server programming language (Python, Go).
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
• Experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
