What you will do

• Build support and map data for a wide variety of network devices, from standard to obscure.
• Perform device support gap analysis for new and prospective customers.
• Define configuration schemas to simplify data ingestion for engineers and customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, support, and sales teams to improve data collection accuracy and strategies.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to foster a culture of ownership.
• Work with NMS team to scale systems handling trillions of records and thousands of queries daily.

Requirements

• Location: Must be in the United States for remote work
• 6+ years of experience building and maintaining production SaaS software
• Experience with scripting (Starlark/Python)
• Familiarity with strongly-typed languages (Go) and data service patterns
• Strong collaboration, communication, independence, and autonomy in remote environment
• Desire to learn, grow, and own hard problems

Nice to have

• Knowledge of networking protocols like SNMP and gNMI
