TL;DR

Technical Specialist: Provide on-site and remote technical support for corporate end-user software, hardware, and connectivity with an accent on troubleshooting complex issues in a fast-moving enterprise environment. Focus on diagnosing hardware/software problems, resolving user account and trading environment issues, and ensuring optimal IT experiences for end users including traders and leadership.

Location: 100% onsite in San Jose, CA (95110)

What you will do

  • Identify, triage, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical problems via in-person, phone, chat, and email support.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, user accounts, trading environments, operating systems, and mobility issues.
  • Fulfill IT hardware requests including delivery, setup, and low-level troubleshooting for office-based end users.
  • Escalate issues to senior support, infrastructure, platform engineering teams, or third-party vendors to prevent recurrence.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to end users, traders, and senior leadership, advocating for their optimal IT experience.
  • Collaborate with local and remote team members on support tasks and technical projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical support experience in complex, fast-moving enterprise environments with 100+ end users.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, networking, and information security troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, Intune, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange, TCP/IP, and VPN.
  • Experience with Dell Windows machines (laptops and towers), hardware/asset management, Outlook troubleshooting, and basic tasks like cable checks and monitor setup.
  • Knowledge of collaboration tools: Slack, MS Teams, Zoom, Google Meet.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences; flexible and client-protocol oriented.

  • Experience with macOS, Linux, iOS, Android.
