What you will do

• Build, hire, and mentor a world-class design team focused on strategic thinking and user engagement.
• Act as lead designer on critical product areas, owning end-to-end user experiences for high-stakes workflows.
• Establish usability metrics through rapid testing, prototyping, and validation.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to shape direction and ensure feasibility.
• Drive continuous discovery using user research and telemetry.
• Evolve and scale the design system for speed, accessibility, and maintainability.

Requirements

• 8+ years in product design with experience in complex B2B SaaS, data-heavy, or regulated platforms
• Proven leadership and mentorship with track record of growing designers’ impact
• Strong hands-on design skills as a player-coach
• Deep knowledge of design systems, usability, and data-informed decisions
• Startup experience in high-growth environments
• Technical literacy for engineering collaboration
• Proficiency in discovery, prototyping, and user research

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, privacy, or regulated domains
• Familiarity with analytics, marketing tech, or data pipelines
• Scaling design systems in growing organizations
