What you will do
- Lead day-to-day operations of Application Support and Operations team for ticket triage, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Act as escalation point for complex incidents with hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Microsoft vendors, internal engineering, onshore/offshore analysts on Azure performance, stability, and releases.
- Review logs, performance reports, metrics to ensure uptime and SLA adherence.
- Implement ITIL practices for incident, problem, change management; drive automation, monitoring, documentation.
- Report KPIs and insights to leadership; maintain communication across business, technical, vendor teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Application Support, Production Operations, or Technical Service Management, including 3+ years in leadership/management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related (preferred).
- Strong Microsoft Azure architecture, monitoring, operational tools knowledge.
- Proficiency in .NET/C#, SQL Server, IIS/WCF/Windows environments; ability to review logs, write SQL queries, interpret performance data.
- Experience managing offshore teams and global operations.
- Excellent communication; ServiceNow, Application Insights, ITIL knowledge.
