Facilities Sourcing Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead sourcing initiatives for a university’s Facilities and Construction department.
• Manage construction-related contracts from planning and design through final project delivery.
• Negotiate directly with contractors, consultants, and manufacturers to secure value.
• Coordinate Facilities directors, project managers, and external vendors around university goals.
• Supervise procurement staff and manage priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Track spend, maintain documentation, and report procurement metrics using Excel.

Requirements

• 7+ years of direct purchasing or sourcing experience, or 5+ years in construction negotiation.
• Experience sourcing construction and renovation projects.
• Strong understanding of design-related contract law.
• Management experience with a record of developing teams.
• Exceptional written communication and a customer-service mindset.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
