Civil Engineer

Salary: $105,000 - $110,000

What you will do

• Develop site designs including stormwater drainage, grading plans, and utility layouts.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and permit applications.
• Coordinate with local agencies for compliance and approvals.
• Perform site analyses for grading, hydrology, and stormwater management.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, contractors, and teams on project delivery.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and construction support including RFIs and site visits.
• Mentor junior staff and implement industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Minimum 6 years of experience in civil engineering with focus on site design.
• Must live in Michigan with ability to travel 10-25% statewide.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience administering local agency reviews and regulatory processes.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with sustainable design and SITES certification.
• Experience with Land F/X and hydrology/hydraulic modeling software.
• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
