What you will do

• Lead electrical design for water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance on client standards to engineering and technician staff.
• Serve as the technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems.
• Support business development and build strategic relationships with clients.
• Conduct energy optimization, power system coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis.
• Coordinate with local electrical utilities and review supplier submittals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in electrical design and construction.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in CA or another US jurisdiction.
• Experience with medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, VFDs, and standby diesel generators.
• Experience in a client-facing or business development role.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as SKM or ETAP.
• Consulting experience within the Water/Wastewater sector.
