What you will do

• Lead telecom scope design for multi-building projects including OSP, backbone distribution, and wireless plans.
• Create and coordinate 3D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD across all disciplines.
• Design communication room layouts, rack elevations, and cable schedules.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, TIA, and BICSI standards.
• Estimate, schedule design efforts, edit specifications, and provide QA for partner designs.
• Support system commissioning and startup phases.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree or four-year degree required; Bachelor’s in Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in telecommunications design and construction.
• Deep knowledge of TIA, BICSI, NEC, and structured cabling design.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Navisworks.
• Strong communication and leadership under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• BICSI RCDD credential.
• Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
• Design of Emergency Responder Radio and DAS systems.
• Additional BICSI certifications (OSP, RTPM).
