Lab Facilities Specialist III (Senior)

Location: 100% onsite in Rahway, New Jersey, United States. Working hours are 7:30am–4:00pm EST.

Salary: $75,700 per year

The position supports laboratory operations within device and combination product development research activities.

What you will do

• Coordinate laboratory administration, equipment maintenance and calibration schedules, routine and specialty supply ordering, and facilities management.
• Maintain development and GXP laboratory equipment and instrumentation according to internal and industry standards.
• Coordinate laboratory technical and safety training and manage related documentation lifecycles.
• Support vendor technology evaluations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoice payments, expense tracking, and stockroom inventory reporting.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipping of equipment and drug or combination-product samples.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced skills with MS Outlook, Teams, Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Ability to lift, box, and unbox up to 45 lbs unassisted and move pallets with a pallet jack.
• Ability to walk 5–10 miles daily, sit and stand for extended periods, drive a golf cart, and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in person at the Rahway, New Jersey site.

Nice to have

• Metrology experience.
• Experience with device and combination-product characterization and mechanical testing.
• Experience with GXP analytical laboratory testing or management.
• SAP, Concur, or related experience with purchase orders, expense reports, payment requests, vendor forms, and inventory reports.
