What you will do

• Lead and mentor a distributed DataOps team across regions for high performance and collaboration.
• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and streaming applications.
• Manage database operations ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
• Implement real-time data processing workflows using Kafka and Flink.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams for seamless data flow.
• Develop data governance, monitoring, observability best practices, and automation in DataOps.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of data infrastructure while managing timelines and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related OR 5+ years in DataOps/Data Engineering
• Proven experience managing remote teams across multiple time zones
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management (Snowflake, SQL, NoSQL)
• Expertise in Kafka, Flink for real-time data processing
• Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration
• Experience with AWS cloud data platforms and infrastructure-as-code/automation tools
