Base Salary Range: $140,000/yr to $220,000/yr + Equity + Benefits. Compensation Range: $130K - $220K

What you will do

• Define mortgage semantics in code, creating models that expand possibilities beyond current standards—this is product design at the API layer.
• Build event-driven API that proactively informs on events, reasons, and next actions.
• Design abstractions, documentation, and developer experience to make complex mortgage processes simple and error-proof.
• Model nonlinearity, branching, and path-dependence in guided experiences without exposing chaos.
• Treat GraphQL API as a product: manage breaking changes, versioning, onboarding, and lifecycle for customer-dependent API.

Requirements

• Deep curiosity and ownership of features from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Track record of solving hardest problems with high agency and strong opinions.
• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Temporal.io, event-driven architecture, AI-driven tooling.
