Location: Remote and based in Ontario, British Columbia or Alberta, Canada
Salary: CAD 145,840 - 182,300 (British Columbia) + 15% target bonus

What you will do
- Master commerce domains including catalog management, subscriptions, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and tax compliance to build scalable financial systems.
- Define platform strategy and roadmap for a commerce-as-a-service model with primitives like metering, rating, and entitlement APIs.
- Enable internal product and operations teams with self-service tools, SDKs, and documentation for independent onboarding.
- Own the event-to-invoice data lifecycle ensuring high-volume usage data transforms into transparent, accurate invoices.
- Partner with Finance, Compliance, and Accounting to embed automated revenue recognition and geography-aware tax compliance.
- Drive customer visibility into usage, integrate AI capabilities, bridge cross-functional gaps, and mentor PMs on technical discovery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 4 years focused on commerce, billing, or financial platforms at scale
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across engineering, finance, risk, and operations
- Strong technical acumen with experience in APIs, extensible platforms, and complex system design
- Data-driven decision maker with track record of defining KPIs and measuring platform success
- Excellent communication and executive-level stakeholder management skills
- Experience with SaaS, large-scale platforms, or multi-product ecosystems; deep Agile and Jira experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Platform leadership in migrations or unification efforts
- ERP & financial integration with NetSuite, SAP, or Workday
- Global tax compliance familiarity (Avalara, Vertex, VAT, GST)
- AI/ML product literacy for financial domains
- SaaS/CPQ knowledge in quote-to-cash ecosystem
