What you will do

• Sample genetically engineered plant tissue for DNA and Protein testing.
• Plant engineered cotton seeds and maintain suitable growth conditions.
• Prepare buffer solutions to extract protein from cotton leaves.
• Assist in plant selection, transplanting, placement, and care.
• Perform greenhouse tasks: water monitoring, cleaning, harvesting, fertilizing, pruning, crossing, and stringing plants.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Science, Chemistry or Biology preferred
• Entry-level; previous experience in assembly, landscaping, or plants/greenhouse helpful
• Strong attention to detail, ability to stand for long periods, work independently and in a team
• Comfortable in hot environment
