Senior Manager, People Technology (HR Tech): Own the architecture and evolution of ’s People technology ecosystem with an accent on reliability, scalability, and intelligent agentic AI solutions. Focus on driving strategic roadmap, AI agent development, workflow automation, and cross-functional systems governance.
Location: Remote-first (United States; BC & ON, Canada)
Salary: $152,000–$215,000 USD (zone-dependent)

What you will do
- Drive strategic direction, roadmap, and priorities for the People technology ecosystem including owned, co-administered, and integrated tools.
- Partner with People and Operations leaders to optimize workflows, identify automation and AI opportunities across the employee lifecycle.
- Evaluate, pilot, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows; set standards for building, testing, and maintaining them.
- Lead and develop the People Technology team, ensuring high-quality delivery, operational maturity, and capacity to execute.
- Manage projects across the portfolio, track timelines and dependencies, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Govern system configuration, data integrity, integrations, access controls, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOX).
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in People Technology or HRIS management, with 3+ years in leadership.
- Advanced Workday expertise (core HCM + one functional area like Compensation or Time-off).
- Experience with integrations, automations, AI workflows using iPaaS (Workato, Zapier).
- Proven track record leading system implementations and cross-functional projects.
- Strong knowledge of HR data, processes, compliance; ability to communicate technically to non-tech stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience designing agentic workflows in People tech context.
- Familiarity with Greenhouse, Qualtrics, Gem, BrightHire.
