Accounts Payable Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Supervise AP team, vendor relations, disbursements, 1099 filings, and sales/use tax reconciliations.
• Hire, train, develop, and performance manage AP team members in partnership with HR.
• Perform data entry for overhead invoices and PO receiving, ensure proper account/job/cost center allocation.
• Manage monthly AP close, cash disbursements, discounts, discrepancies, and electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements, GL accounts, process expense reports, and assist with budgeting.
• Maintain records by scanning to ERP and ensure confidentiality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience
• 2+ years supervising a team of 1-4 people
• Proven job cost experience
• Knowledge of electronic payments, vendor releases, and California sales & use tax regulations
• Proficient to advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software
