TL;DR
Strategic Finance Lead: Own financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering to shape commercial decisions and drive performance with an accent on unit economics, investment analysis, and strategic initiatives. Focus on building the strategic finance function from scratch, creating decision frameworks, and supporting board prep, fundraising, and M&A.
Location: Hybrid with a minimum of 2 core office days per week in London Bridge, London, UK.
Salary: £75-90k (dependent on experience) + equity.

What you will do
- Own financial planning & analysis, strategy, forecasting, and reporting to provide actionable insights for decisions.
- Act as trusted business partner to leadership, commercial, and product teams on investments, board prep, market analysis, and unit economics.
- Lead pricing, unit economics, and cost optimisation across the business.
- Support CEO on board meetings, fundraising, investor relations, and M&A.
- Build strategic finance function including tech stack, planning cycles, dashboards with data team.
- Implement cost and resource management frameworks for transparency and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in strategy consulting, in-house finance, or commercial roles.
- Owned end-to-end business planning, forecasting, performance management; set ambitious targets.
- Strong analytical/modelling skills in revenue dynamics, metrics, financial statements.
- Business partnering: challenge and influence department heads, executives, board.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives; high emotional intelligence, clear communicator.
- Confident in data analysis (SQL, dashboards); hands-on, outcome-driven in high-autonomy settings.
