What you will do

• Measure and calculate construction quantities for grading projects.
• Assist in ensuring water distribution and sanitary sewer systems meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications during project inspections.
• Prepare accurate records, reports, and project files.
• Aid in design, plan preparation, and quantity estimating for roadway improvements and storm sewers.

Requirements

• High school graduate or college student pursuing civil or environmental engineering
• Valid driver's license with acceptable record
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, crawl
• Lift and move objects up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude
