What you will do

• Lead significant portions of water and wastewater facilities through design, construction, and startup phases.
• Develop reports, technical memos, studies, detailed designs, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents.
• Participate in scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, business development, and proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with internal/external teams, interface with clients and sub-consultants, and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Apply civil engineering concepts to complex projects, develop non-standard solutions, perform calculations, and prepare engineering deliverables.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to less experienced engineers; review their work and oversee data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience.
• All applicants must complete pre-employment onboarding including background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
• Knowledge of civil concepts, practices, codes, and procedures in water engineering industry.
• Effective communication with engineering disciplines and project teams.
• Ability to plan, evaluate, and adapt engineering techniques for complex projects.

Nice to have

• EIT certification and active pursuit of PE registration.
• Thorough understanding of water and wastewater design (infrastructure, conveyance, pump/lift stations).
• Ability and motivation to lead portions of complex projects with guidance.
