TL;DR

Field Service Technician 2 (Mailing/Document Systems): Installing, servicing, and upgrading mailing systems, document systems, parcel lockers, and addressing systems at customer locations with an accent on diagnosing technical issues and configuring hardware/embedded software. Focus on troubleshooting advanced problems, performing routine maintenance, and providing customer training for proper equipment operation.

Location: Tampa, United States (onsite with up to 100% travel required). Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.

What you will do

  • Install, service, upgrade, and perform routine maintenance on mailing systems, document systems, parcel lockers, addressing systems, and related software at customer sites
  • Diagnose technical issues, troubleshoot hardware/software problems, and identify solutions for effective equipment functioning
  • Configure hardware and embedded software components post-installation and test equipment
  • Provide training and guidance to customers on operation and maintenance
  • Manage replacement parts stock, maintain tools, and keep clients updated on progress
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and teams to recommend technical solutions

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; 1+ years customer service experience preferred; 3+ years electrical/mechanical installation, troubleshooting, repair preferred
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, schematics; diagnose/repair mid-to-advanced level equipment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational skills; ability to multitask and work independently
  • Willingness to travel frequently up to 100%; lift 50lbs within OSHA guidelines
  • Ability to mentor/train junior technicians
