Location: On-site in Grand Rapids, MI with extensive travel (roughly 4 out of 5 days) across the Great Lakes Region.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery on-site to ensure minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control issues.
• Serve as a technical representative for machinery brands to reinforce long-term customer relationships.
• Travel extensively throughout the Great Lakes Region to provide on-site support.

Requirements

• Two years of electronic technical schooling or equivalent hands-on experience in a related technical field.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is mandatory due to central travel requirements.
• Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time around the Great Lakes region.
• Experience with N/C or P/C equipment service, maintenance, or machine operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for documenting service and interacting with customers.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in electrical or mechanical technology for complex diagnostics.
• Completion of a formal field service training program.
